ABOUT AUSTRALIAN TOURIST PUBLICATIONS

Australian Tourist Publications primary role is to market and promote the tourism industry by publishing free, user friendly magazines to support and sustain operators in the six primary destinations across Australia- three in Tropical North Queensland,one in Outback Queensland and two in the Northern Territory.

The Tropical North Queensland region is alive with charm and spirit and is framed by two natural features of pristine beauty - The Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics Rainforest – which have fostered the growth of a thriving tourism industry.

Welcome to Cairns is the flagship of Australian Tourist Publications and has been servicing the region's tourism industry for more than 18 years. The Welcome to Cairns magazine is distributed to more than 500 outlets throughout the region as well as interstate.

Welcome to Port Douglas is now in its fifth year and has gone from strength to strength. Welcome to Port Douglas has played a vital role as the key marketing collateral for the Douglas Shire's tourism industry.

Welcome to Cairns Highlands is also in its fifth year and is designed to focus on the unsurpassed natural beauty of the rainforest laced with sparkling mountain streams and the rich agricultural lands. The magazine is distributed to over 350 outlets across the region from Cape York to Rockhampton.

Welcome to Mount Isa is in its first year and prides itself on producing a great source of information for thousands of visiting the Mount Isa region. This magazine will be directly distributed across regional Queensland.

Australian Tourist Publications is one of the largest publishers of tourism magazines in Australia. Its principal activity is to produce the "Welcome to..." range of titles, two of which service the Northern Territory region.

The company's two Northern Territory publications – Welcome to Central Australia and Welcome to Darwin serve the best interest of annual visitors and tourism operators.

Jenny Reid manages tour desk sales, distribution logistics and copy flow and has more than 5 years experience in reception and data base management.


 

Kyle Giddings – Distribution Manager

Kyle Giddings delivers publications throughout the region from Mission Beach to Cape Tribulation.


 

Jessica Maguire – Journalist

Jessica Maguire writes the editorial for the various publications and maintains the companies corporate website. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Queensland.


 

Suzanne Ashmore – Graphic Designer

Suzanne Ashmore has over 10 years experience as a graphic designer and her company is contracted by ATP for design work.


 

Nikki Ward – Graphic Designer

Nikki Ward has over 10 years experience in graphic design and is contracted by ATP.


 

Sue Dwyer - Graphic Designer

Sue has over 12 years experience in advertising, design and publishing. Liaising with client, she designs the ads, editorial and deals with all aspects of production.
