BLAZING SADDLES

Located at Kuranda, 35 minutes west of Cairns, Blazing Saddles specialises in half-day rainforest adventure tours, either horse riding or an ATV (quad bike) ride. You can also take a combination tour of both rides in one day.

You will enjoy a 2 hour tour and experience the beauty of the rainforest flora and fauna.

The rides commence through bushland surrounding the Blazing Saddles complex. Native Australian forest and rainforest surroundings provide interesting and adventurous trails and also many native animals and birds. Spectacular views over the tablelands provide wonderful memories. Tours include courtesy coach transfers from all hotels in Cairns and the Northern Beaches, meals and safety equipment. An instructional lesson is given to all participants prior to the start of the tour.

With a stable of over 70 quiet and gentle horses, Blazing Saddles offers a safe and relaxing way to see the rainforest. With horses to suit all levels and ages (minimum age 4 years) this is a perfect family adventure. They use the highest standard of equipment including Saferider safety stirrups with a quick release mechanism. The horses have a friendly nature and will be matched to each riders experience and ability. They cater for beginners and experienced.

Their ATV's (all terrain vehicles) are easy to ride and provide the perfect transportation through the rainforest. Blazing Saddles has a large fleet of quad bikes, 250cc ATV's plus a selection of 90cc ATV's for the ladies and children (minimum age 12 years). No license or previous experience necessary. This tour is excitement plus and allows the participants to experience nature close up, at their own pace.
