Established in 1996, Muk Muk Fine Art is located in the historical precinct of Old Eastside in Alice Springs. Specialising in aboriginal art from Utopia and the Central and Western Deserts Muk Muk offers a diverse range of quality aboriginal artworks sourced directly from the artists.


A family owned and operated business Muk Muk Fine Art is managed by Mike and Sharon Mitchell.  Born and raised in the Northern Territory, Mike has over 25 years experience working in Aboriginal communities across Northern and Central Australia. This experience has resulted in a deep appreciation for Aboriginal people, their culture and their art. Aboriginal art in particular has been a passion of Mike’s since childhood.

Muk Muk Fine Art is strongly committed to nurturing emerging talent and promoting aboriginal  art throughout Australia and overseas and undertakes the commitment to an ethical code of practice that supports Aboriginal artists and enhances the Aboriginal art industry.
