Coober Pedy Underground Pottery is made on site at the underground workshop where you can view the finished work in the gallery.

Utilising the colours of the local clay and landscape, Peter and his family create breathtaking works of art. All of the pottery is hand thrown or hand built and twice fired at the studio.

The clays used are guaranteed genuine stoneware or terracotta, suitable for use in ovens, microwaves, freezers and dishwashers, but cannot be used on a flame or hot plate.

The glazes capture the colours of Coober Pedy and the Outback. A wide variety of Australian-made arts and crafts and photograph’s are for sale.

This unique place overlooks the famous grassless golf course and with a panoramic view of the township and dugout ridges.
