The Painted Desert Tour leaves Coober Pedy, travels through the Dingo Fence, over the treeless moon plains and into the most spectacular breakaway ever seen. One of South Australia's best keep secrets, these sedimentary hills laid down by the inland sea have eroded away over time exposing the colours of the outback that gave this place it name.

The Painted Desert option is a fully inclusive tour with morning tea and lunch being provided at Arckaringa homestead.
