The Albert Namatjira Gallery at the Alice Springs Cultural Precinct is named after the famous Arrernte artist, born at Hermannsburg in 1902.

The Gallery features original watercolour landscape paintings of Central Australia by Albert Namatjira, along with works by his sons, relatives and other Aboriginal artists, dating from the early 1930’s through to current time.

A selection of paintings showcasing the rise of the dot painting movement at Papunya in the early 1970’s, along with works by contemporary Arrernte artists are also on display.
