KATHERINE OUTBACK HERITAGE MUSEUM

 

The members of the Historical Society invite you to visit the Katherine Outback Heritage Museum.

Through photographs and artefacts they tell the story of the regions past. Displays are spread through three buidlings with highlights icluding Dr. Fenton's aircrafts, and the pioneering peanut farmers.

Located at the site of the town's old aerodrome they are only 3km from the Post Office.

New exhibitions include the Overland Telegraph, WWII Display, One Man Three Cultures and the Icon Sabu Display.

Open daily from 9am to 4pm
