DARWIN PORT CORPORATION

The Darwin Port Corporation was established by the Darwin Port Corporation Act. A Business Division of the Northern Territory Government, the Corporation is responsible for the management and operation of the Port of Darwin in accordance with powers and functions defined under the Act and by-laws.

Employing 85 full time equivalent staff, the Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Infrastructure and is led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Robert Ritchie.

The Darwin Port Corporation also operates facilities for non-trading vessels. This market segment includes research, fishing and pearling vessels.
