AUSTRALIAN AND OCEANIC ART GALLERY

Australian & Oceanic Art Gallery have an extensive collection of artwork by leading Australian indigenous artists and selected contemporary artists, showcasing artwork from communities such as Lockhart River, Mornington Island, Torres Strait and Central and Western Desert.

Representing and promoting Indigenous art and culture they are committed to bringing an awareness and appreciation of fine contemporary Aboriginal Art.

They also have a selection of contemporary Australian artist’s paintings, sculpture and glassware on display.

The Gallery has been established in Port Douglas for seven years and has recently moved to new premises on the corner of Grant and Warner Streets.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30, Sat and Sun 10am to 5pm
