RAINFORESTATION NATURE PARK

Rainforestation a 100-acre tourist attraction set in the midst of World Heritage Rainforest situated half an hour by coach from Cairns and five minutes from Kuranda.

Rainforestation’s range of attractions allows visitors to experience Australia’s natural beauty and traditional culture in one convenient setting. 

The Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers perform a powerful, exciting show of traditional dance. The amphitheatre set in the rainforest seats 400.  Pamagirri guides conduct the Dreamtime Walk, which includes boomerang throwing, spear throwing and didgeridoo.  Amphibious Army Ducks operate tours through the rainforest, via land and water and your tour includes the Tropical Fruit Orchard. 

The Koala and Wildlife Park has koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, crocodiles, wombats, and other native species.  Digital photographs of cuddling koalas are also available.
