ATHERTON BIRDS OF PREY

Be thrilled by some of Australia's awesome aerial predators at the Atherton Birds of Prey show. Presented in the grounds of the historic Atherton Chinatown, Atherton Birds of Prey is the newest wildlife attraction in the region. 

Primarily a free-flight bird show, it features eagles, falcons, owls and other animals native to North Queensland. It is already recognised as one of the best wildlife encounters of its kind in Australia. You will not see any animals displayed in enclosures here - this is an interactive animal experience where the sky truly is the limit! For those who want an extra buzz, Mark (the owner/presenter) offers photo opportunities and one-on-one encounters with his Wedge-tailed Eagles. In addition, meet "Macca" the inquisitive Quoll (mainland Australia's largest carnivourous marsupial), and "Bob" the Crocodile. Escape the crowds and rediscover your connection to the natural world.
